Sanctuary

Canine Miracles, is located at the south of Mexico City, in an area surrounded by a forest, where dogs are free and without any kind of confinement.

In Canine Miracles, cages do not exist because it is not a prison; dogs suffered enough at the streets or their own houses. They are only separated by areas in which every dog can enjoy from everything they never enjoyed before: Freedom with everlasting love, knowing that they will never suffer from cold or hunger anymore.

Clinic

The clinic in charge of providing veterinarian services to Canine Miracles is Puppy’s Doc.

Its Director, Dr. Jesus Lugo Marín, is the one who determines if the dogs are candidates for living at Canine Miracles. He receives, evaluates, takes x-rays, performs surgeries, chemotherapies or gives specific treatments for specific type of problems and after being discharged by Dr. Lugo, dogs come to Canine Miracles and start a new life.

The Clinic is located close to the “Estadio Azteca” (Mexico’s city Stadium) and the telephone number is (52-55) 54-24-01-34.

Guided tours

At Canine Miracles we have Guided Tours for people that want to visit the Sanctuary and meet our dogs.

These tours are only one Sunday morning per month and dates are chosen according to the number of people that will come. (Dates will be published in our news section). The meeting point is always at 10:30 am outside “Deportivo Xochimilco”, which is located exactly in front of the “Delegación Xochimilco” and “ISSSTE”.

Please note that is not at the main entrance of “Deportivo”. We meet there and we will guide you for approximately 15 or 20 minutes until arriving at Canine Miracles. People who do not have a car will be transported on other’s cars.

The visit tour covers all areas of Canine Miracles including the cemetery, you will have the opportunity to play and enjoy the coexistence of dogs. As a matter of fact and contrary to what is thought, Canine Miracles is not a sad place. Normally people bring gifts to them, like dog food, sweaters, beds, rewards, etc.

It is allowed to give little rewards but only for some areas. Dogs without teeth can only eat soft prizes.
At the end of each tour, we spend some time together with snacks and refreshments as a sign of gratefulness for your visit.
